This Dakota Digital RetroTech gauge kit gives you the best of both worlds. The look of the original type gauges with all the modern functionality that Dakota Digital is know for. Designed after stock 1967 and 1968 Camaro clusters, these all-new packages look like a simple speed/tach combo until you turn the key, then four auxiliary readings appear! Oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel and volts are comprised of LED bars; invisible to the average observer but front and center for the driver. Each pod has a TFT message center for additional information at your finger tips.

Although the graphic styles vary between 1967 and 1968, the systems will interchange between the years, so choose your preferred, or period-correct version! Starting from scratch, CNC machined housings are filled with electronics designed and built in-house, helping Dakota Digital once again raise the bar for aftermarket instrumentation. The high-definition TFT message centers can be fully configured to display just about any piece of information needed.

As you've come to expect from Dakota Digital, the RTX series utilizes a central control box to make installation and setup as easy as possible. Bezel not included, shown for visual/presentation purposes.

Although Dakota Digital instrument systems are programmable for both day and night intensity levels, the DIM-01 will allow rotary, or on-the-fly brightness adjustment added convenience. Dakota Digital is proud to introduce the BIM Expansion modules for Dakota Digital VFD, VHX, HDX and RTX instrument systems. The introduction of the Dakota Digital BIM modules allow you to add up to an additional 16 gauges, that's right we said SIXTEEN specialty gauges to your vehicle without the need to cut extra holes in the dash or installing pillar and pod mounts to your columns or under the dash. Original style gauge-face styling, each RTX system allows the user to select independent illumination colors for the gauge readings and needles, as well as the message centers. Calibration and personal settings are manipulated with the built-in, capacitive-touch buttons, or the available Bluetooth app for Apple and Android devices.

Each needle hub is black nickel plated spun-aluminum to match the buttons. All RTX instrument systems feature dead-faced indicators (turn signals, high beam, check engine, cruise control, parking brake, plus two user-definable), and a red, settable warning light for each gauge. With our central control box, installation is greatly simplified with vehicle-harness sourced signals and supplied, solid state sending units connecting cleanly to their respective terminal.

Full RBG backlighting allows you to create the specific color you want, with a unique daytime and nighttime theme if desired.

·Replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness. Tremec and Ford style adaptors available on request.

·Each kit comes with 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings along with bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads. ·All HDX Series Instrument Systems include LED-lit onboard capacitive touch pushbuttons through the gauge face. These pushbuttons provide quick and consistent access to all functions, either in driving mode or while in the setup menu.

Button-press feedback is available through the TFT Message Center, or through the included buzzer. Additionally, remote mounted switches can be wired into the HDX system if this proves more accessible based upon seating position. The HDX Series can also be completely configured through the Bluetooth app, suitable to Android and Apple devices.

·All calibration settings are handled through onboard capacitive touch switches or the remote Bluetooth app. While many calibration settings exist, the speedometer and fuel level are completed in most cases (unless GPS-50-2 is used, negating the need to calibrate the speedometer) through a few taps of the pushbuttons and a short test drive of the vehicle.
